AMO Zanzibar Tours & Safaris is a family-owned, well-established tourism company situated in the middle of Stone Town's maze.

Amour, the owner, was born and raised in Pemba, Chake Chake. He speaks Kiswahili as his mother tongue and is also fluent in English. Amour studied tourism at the State University of Zanzibar.

Together with his family team, he aims to offer thoughtful and responsible tourism that gives guests an authentic insight into the Swahili coast and the region, while minimizing the negative effects of mass tourism on the environment and society.

The protection of our environment is a precondition for success and sustainability. Eco-friendly tourism, together with a personal touch of Swahili culture, is at the heart of our company.
